The team at Safety Horizon (South West) recognise the importance of giving back to local communities and have been fortunate to help many charities, good causes and individuals over the years.
We are proud to have been involved with the amazing projects that are listed below and are always open to hearing about deserving charities within our local area for future consideration.
Nailsea and Tickenham football club
At the start of the 2023 season we have agreed to a 2-year sponsorship partnership with Nailsea and Tickenham football club.
We are excited to be supporting this fantastic community project and look forward to supporting the club with their forthcoming season in the Western League Premier division. They have some great people representing them and we feel its important to invest in and support our local community'.

Team Titans
We are proud to sponsor Team Titans - a netball team recently set-up for like-minded veteran players who have a passion for the sport. The ethos being that they are able to support each other in fitting the commitment to the sport around their family and work commitments, without judgement.
We look forward to following their progress throughout the season and watching their games when possible.
Community of Purpose
This fantastic charity, based in South Bristol, transforms the lives and futures of young people through businesses who act as a force for good.
They have a number of projects that run throughout the year - all designed to bring young people and businesses together.
We have been able to donate at Christmas time towards gifts for the children and also to allow staff members to volunteer during school holidays and help with the amazing activities this charity arranges for the children.
We look forward to supporting them again this coming Christmas.

Educate the kids - support a child
After discovering the good work carried out by local businesses in North Somerset and Bristol we decided to get involved and now sponsor two children - Baraka and Bahati - from the same family in Kenya.
They are both now able to attend school, and with monthly sponsorship they are supported throughout primary education - including uniform, breakfast, lunch, books & exam fees. We were able to send out a letter and food pack to the children when a local fundraiser visited earlier this year - and to see the smile on Baraka's face was priceless.
The charity was set up by an English family and relies on volunteers so all donations go straight to the school.
We love hearing from Educate the Kids with updates on our sponsored children, photographs, how our donations are being used - it is such a personal charity for such an amazing cause.

Portishead Town Juniors FC
Even before the success of the England's women football team, we have sponsored local teams - boys, girls and women - at Portishead Town FC.
During the summer of 2022, we were privileged to be involved in sponsoring the annual girls and women football tournament. This involved over 100 local teams over the weekend and provided an opportunity for young girls to be involved in a festival of football.
