28 years of management experience
Tim heads up our procurement section of the business and also regularly carries out a consultancy role.
He joined the business after 28 years’ experience in the plumbing and heating industry. His previous role as a Branch Manager of a busy merchants encompassed various aspects of health and safety, including risk assessments, fire safety and first aid.
Tim has always been customer facing and prides himself on being personable and very focused on customer service.
Tim has successfully completed his NEBOSH General Certificate, NEBOSH Environmental certificate as well as his FCS Fire Safety Management and Fire Risk Assessment qualification.

Our newest addition to the health and safety team
After graduating from UWE with a first class honours in business and management in 2023, Emily has joined the team as a junior health and safety consultant. Her main duties include communicating with customers, managing our retained clients and maintaining social media platforms, as well as creating bespoke risk assessments and policies, including mental health and wellbeing and work-related stress, and acting as a trusted advisor. Emily is due to start her NEBOSH National Diploma in August 2025.
In addition to her degree, Emily has the following qualifications:

Over 30 years’ experience within finance and accounting
Hannah completed her Chartered Institute of Management Accountants qualification after college and has worked within that environment ever since. Her experience of accounting in different industries includes education, retail, utilities, NHS and now Health and Safety.
In her role as Business Support Manager, Hannah supports and works with the senior director & consultant’s at Safety Horizon (South West) to ensure that:
• The daily financial and admin operation of the business runs smoothly
• They have analytical information of performance – past and present - in order to make informed decisions about the business
• The business has a first point of contact for many of our customers
• All social media platforms and website are maintained
• All aspects of training administration are managed
• The business is supported in marketing and business development
In addition to being a chartered management accountant, Hannah has the following Health and Safety qualifications:
